"Agua" by Sofía Ugarte in Can Pou

Right when the thermometers reach maximum temperatures, the painter and architect Sofía Ugarte presents a very refreshing exhibition: "Agua". The show, that can be visited in the Bar Can Pou in the port of Eivissa until August 15, is formed by some twelve works inspired by water and featuring few elements, minimalist scenes, solitary characters and intense colours.

Sofía Ugarte was born in Nicaragua and nowadays she lives in Barcelona, although she spends long periods in Eivissa. Last June she already presented an exhibition in the Cultural Centre of Santa Eulària called "Luz" (light).
