Sant Antoni Fiesta 2006

The people of Sant Antoni have been celebrating their patron saint festivities since last weekend. As usual, the Town Council has prepared an extensive and varied programme of events and the marquee in the Passeig de ses Fonts will house most of these. The most festive part of the programme starts on Friday 13 with the "II Fiesta Flower Power". On Saturday 14, among other activities, there will be a small boat sailing regatta and the day will end with rock music. As for the Sunday 15, worth stressing is the farming show that will be held in the Cooperativa Agrícola de Sant Antoni, the folk festival in the Cine Regio and the theatre show "L'alegria que passa" in the Parish auditorium. On Monday 16 as from 8 p.m. there will be a barbecue and music for everybody.

The Sant Antoni mass, on Tuesday 17, will start at 12 noon followed by the traditional procession, folkdancing, decorated floats parade and blessing of the animals. The programme of activities, available on the website of the Town Council, will continue until Sunday 29.
