Relaunch of the free weglog service
The creation of weblogs is very easy and immediate
Two months ago BalearWeb announced the realease of a free weblog service. Initially the system was based on the MovableType software, but just after the installation, the developers of this script decided to change their licences and the BalearWeb team had to redefine the service.
The new project Bloc de BalearWeb, based on the open source software pLog, has been developed by BalearWeb and qDevel, a firm that is part of the pLog Team. The new system, written in strict XHTML and following the Web Accessibility Initiative, features a community portal that displays the recent posts by the users and, amongst other options, it offers several languages, possibility to create albums for images, documents and any other kind of files, web page for your favourite links, calendar and many other features.
The weblog service is as web content publishing and management system that facilitates the task of creation and maintenance of pages on internet. The system is aimed at both users without previous computer knowledge and advanced users. The users without previous knowledge can publish their pages by simply using the forms. The advanced users can customise them as much as they like, modifying the style, formats, etc.
The creation of weblog is very easy and immediate, following an automated registration process. The users interested in having their own weblog can register and start publishing contents using this form.
