Elektrozine, electronic cinema festival

The Asociación Cinematográfica Pithyusa (ACP) organizes the fourth Elektrozine, an International Independent documentary & short film Festival that takes place annually in Eivissa.

Elektrozine takes a stand for what we could call "electronic cinema": a medium which combines photographic & electronically generated images with the flexibility and low production costs allowed by digital video postproduction procedures, key to the development of a true independent cinema.

During the five days of the Festival (October 22 to 26, 2002), short films and documentaries will be shown in different video formats video (analogic & digital). Parallel to the development of the festival workshops & digital filmmaking equipment presentations will take place.
