Patron Saint Festivity of sa Cala

Theatre, folk dance, music...

The patron saint festivities of Sant Vicent de sa Cala began on March 19th and will continue until April 9. Amongst other activities, there will be theatre at the parish hall (March 25th and April 2nd), and an excursion from Sant Joan village to Sa Cala including a popular barbecue (Saturday, April 1st).

On the day of the patron saint, April 5th, the traditional mass will take place at twelve noon, followed by a procession and folk dances. As from 7.30 p.m. there will be a party at Es Cafè featuring performances by the Alexis magician and the Havana orchestra, and the night will finish with a firework display.

The activities will continue during the following weekend, with a tribute for the pensioners (April 8th, 12 noon) and a mass followed by a procession, typical doughnuts and wine for everybody (April 9th, 8 p.m.).
